BKL DRIVING ACADEMY instructors are fully qualified, licensed ADI’s, through the DSA.

Lessons

A lesson will be of 1 hour duration. However, pupils can also book for 1½ hours and 2 hours.

Cancellations

If you or your instructor wishes to cancel a lesson a minimum of 48 hours prior notice must be given. If you do not give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, BKL DRIVING ACADEMY will be entitled to charge for the lesson(s) involved.

Payments and Lesson Booking

You must pay for tuition, in advance, by using one of the following methods:

- Payment by credit or debit card, by telephoning BKL DRIVING ACADEMY office on 0141 562 9047.

- Payment by credit/debit card or cash direct to your instructor.

A fee of £60 will be required to be paid in advance before the car and instructor is used on the Test day.
This will cover pick from an agreed location, a 90 minute lesson before the test, the use of the car for the test itself and return to an agreed destination.

Discounts

Off peak rates are 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

Student discount applied subject to valid student card. Student discount is not available in conjunction with any other discounts.

Price Changes

The price of lessons, which have not been prepaid as part of a block booking, may be changed at any time. You will always receive prior notice of such changes.

Cost of prepaid tuition is based on lesson price in force at time of booking and will be honoured for 6 months thereafter, irrespective of any price increase that may occur between the date of booking and when the lessons are taken. Any unused lessons remaining after 6 months have elapsed shall have any lesson price increase applied.

Transferability of Lessons

You cannot sell or transfer lessons which have been purchased in your name to any other person without consent.

1st Time Pass Guarantee

If a Pupil, having been advised by their BKL Driving Instructor to sit their Driving Test fails at their first attempt, BKL Driving Academy will pay the fee for their second test. This Guarantee applies only to pupils who have had all their tuition from BKL Driving Academy.
